Research Picture Submission Form

Are you an undergraduate student conducting research? This could be through many means: a formal program, a URH program, a non-URH program, 199 credit, volunteering, etc.

We would love to see your research-based photos! We may share them on our website, in our newsletter, on our social media, etc.

What do we consider "research-based" photos?
  • you working in a lab
  • you presenting at a conference
  • you working in the field
  • you with your team members/mentors
  • lab space
  • samples through a microscope
  • etc.

If you are unsure if your picture(s) are appropriate, feel free to contact Dr. Marie Sheneman at msheneman@ucsd.edu

Feel free to submit pictures throughout your time at UC San Diego. You are not limited to one submission!

By submitting photos, you understand that these photos may be posted on the URH website, newsletter, social media, and other marketing materials and agree to us using them in this manner. Your photos will not be used in a commercial or non-academic manner.

VERY IMPORTANT !!

Before uploading pictures with research content (lab space, specimens, field work, presentations, etc.), confirm with your mentor/PIs that it is ok if the pictures are published. We don't want to publish photos that contain proprietary information.

Option 1: Upload Word Document with photos and details

Please upload any recent research related photos (e.g. conferences, lab work, with mentor, field work, etc.).

Please put all pictures in one Word doc and include the following information for each photo before uploading:
 
  • Photo
  • Names and contact information of people in the photo
  • Event/Activity performed in the photo
  • Location of the photo
     
Do not upload research papers/posters.

Please submit high quality photos.
