Dear Potential Participant We are Public Health students at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) conducting a research study in our Capstone class to find out more about burnout among healthcare workers and its effects on quality of care during COVID-19. The results of this study will help develop and shape legislation to prevent Physician Burnout in the future. Potential risks are minimal. It should take approximately 10 minutes of your time. Results from this study will be presented in the aggregate to better understand the correlation between the exposure and the outcome. Research records will be kept completely confidential to the extent allowed by law. Only approved project staff will have access to any of your personal information you choose to share. This study will maintain the privacy and confidentiality of participants by not asking for any personally identifiable pieces of information such as names, addresses, or contact information. Answers will be recorded onto and stored securely electronically. This study will not request or contain any inappropriate content. Participation in research is entirely voluntary.
