The Cost of Commitment: Extracurriculars and Academic Stress at UCSD
Zuhayr Choudhry, Kirsten Christensen, and Samantha O’Donnell, who are students at UCSD, are conducting a research study to further understand the relationship between on-campus extracurricular activities and perceived academic stress within UCSD undergraduate students.
If you agree to be in this study, the following will occur:
You will be asked to fill out an online survey and the survey may take up to 5-10 minutes to complete. The questions will ask you about sociodemographic characteristics, your on-campus extracurricular participation, and your perceptions of academic stress.
Data collection will be kept confidential, and all survey responses will remain
anonymous
. Only the students listed above, course teaching assistant, and course instructor will have access to the data. Your data will only be used for class research purposes.
Your participation is entirely
voluntary
